Chris Rock’s Take: Is There Money in Cures?

Does anybody ever remember Chris Rock? You know Chris Rock, the famous standup comedian and actor. Chris Rock is amazing. He used to do a skit where he talked about how there ain’t no money in the cure. Nobody wants to cure things because there’s no money in that—the money is in managing your disease. Did you know that the American Medical Association and the American Diabetic Association have a 2% success rate in reversing type 2 diabetes? That is laughable. Yet, the American Diabetic Council and the American Diabetic Society still promote medications that haven’t been proven to be beneficial long-term, while also promoting diets that are absolutely asinine.
